In the morning of January 10, 2020, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council grandly held the 2019 National Science and Technology Awards Conference in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

The National Science and Technology Award is to reward citizens and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to scientific and technological progress activities. The State Council has established five national science and technology awards: the highest national science and technology award, the national natural science award, the national technological invention award, the national scientific and technological progress award and the International Science and Technology Cooperation Award of the People's Republic of China. Party and state leaders, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Wang Huning and Han Zheng attended the conference and presented awards to the winning representatives. President Xi Jinping presented awards to the winners of the highest award.

A total of 296 projects and 12 scientific and technological experts were selected in this conference. Among them, there are 46 National Natural Science Award projects, 65 National Technological Invention Award projects, and 185 National Science and Technology Progress Award projects.

Wuxi Fofia Technology Co., Ltd., as one of the main research units, has won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award for the creation and application of key technologies for livestock breeding and intelligent feeding equipment. The general manager of the company, Mr. Luo Yuanming, attended the National Science and Technology Awards Conference in the Great Hall of the People as one of the main project researchers.

In view of the low level of digitization of feed data in China, the lack of dynamic models of nutrient demand, the disorderly control of breeding environment, and the current situation that intelligent equipment and tagging products mainly rely on imports, the project of “key technologies for digitalization of livestock breeding and the creation and application of intelligent feeding equipment”are taking the lead to conducting the intelligent research on livestock breeding, in order to realize the digitalization of nutrient demand and the precision of nutrient supply, so as to save costs and increase efficiency. In response to the needs of nutrition management and production management of livestock fine breeding in China, this achievement carried out three aspects: "basic feed nutrition data and nutrition dynamic model construction", "breeding environment control and intelligent equipment creation", and "digitization of breeding process and product traceability". A number of innovative research results have been achieved, the overall technology has reached the international advanced level, and the feed digital description, database construction and mining have reached the international leading level.
